Theme and Appearance

Wish Master is based on the genie from the story of Aladdin. In the Disney tale, the genie grants three wishes. Wish Master follows this theme and even includes a genie that resembles the mystical character. Released by Swedish game developer, Net Entertainment, this action-packed slot is suitable for gamblers of all sorts. With beautifully designed graphics, theme-fitting music and enticing gameplay, Wish Master is ideal for gamblers looking for an easy-to-play slot with many bonus features.

Visually, Wish Master is excellent. The game is set inside a mysterious cave filled with the genie's lamp and sparkling jewels. On the reels, you'll see A, K, Q and J royals as the low paying symbols. The high paying icons take the form of birds, lions, scorpions and snakes. The snake is the most rewarding, paying 1.5, 10 or 37.5 times your stake for landing 3, 4 or 5 on a payline. The game also features a flaming Wild symbol. Appearing on all reels, the Wild can replace any of the standard symbols to help form a winning combination. The flaming Wild can also act as a symbol in its own right, paying the same as the high paying snake icon.

Betting and Prizes

Betting in Wish Master starts from £1 per spin. If you want to increase your wager, you can do so up to £100 per spin. Betting levels can be changed each spin and include 0.1, 0.2, 0.5, 0.10, 0.20 or 0.50 coins. This wide betting range makes the slot suitable for both high rollers and recreational gamblers with smaller bankrolls.

More serious gamblers can play Wish Master with all 20 paylines active. When doing so, the betting amounts range from £1 to £100 per spin depending on the coin value chosen. While the slot doesn't have a progressive jackpot, the game does offer a Free Spins feature, autoplay, Wild and Scatter symbols and a bonus game. The slot also comes with special symbols and high paying symbols. During the bonus round, it's all about the genie who will provide free spins with 5 extras. You can choose from extra Wild icons, a Wild reel, expanding Wilds, random Wilds and multipliers up to 6x. The RTP of this slot is set at 96.6%, which is average for a slot of this sort.

Slot Features

Like most slot games, Wish Master comes with various bonus features. Below, we explore some of our favourites.

Bonus Feature

The main attraction of this slot is the Wish Master Bonus feature. If you land the lamp Scatter anywhere on the reels, the genie is released from the lamp to activate one of the extras and award 10 free spins. In terms of extras, you can expect:

Extra Wild – With this extra, the lion and snake symbols act as extra Wild symbols.

Wild Reel – With this extra, the reel which contained the triggering scatter will become Wild.

Expanding Wild – With this extra, each wild symbol that lands will expand to give you a Wild reel.

Random Wild – With this extra, 2 random wilds will appear on the reels after each free spin.

Multiplier – With this extra, all wins will be given a 2x or 3x multiplier. If both multipliers appear, you will receive a 6x multiplier.

Scatter Symbol

During the bonus feature, a Scatter symbol can appear and randomly activate another extra. When it does, it will also increase the Free Spin meter by 5 free spins. A maximum of 3 extras can be in play at the same time, allowing you to play with expanding Wilds, multipliers and extra Wilds in combination.

If you manage to trigger multiple extras, you could benefit from a huge win. The most rewarding extra is the multiplier, as the maximum 6x multiplier can drastically boost your winnings.

Verdict

Overall, Wish Master is another great release by NetEnt. Focussing on the genie and his extras, the slot is fun to play and offers decent winning potential if luck is on your side. The game first released in 2014 but has recently been updated to HTML5 format and can now be played on mobile and tablet devices. If you're looking for a simple slot game with enticing features, Wish Master will not disappoint.
